(KTRS) – A St. Louis man is accused of attempting to steal a bag of Flamin’ Hot Cheetos from a gas station and then trying to burn the building down.

Sunday evening, police say that Joshua Crook went into a gas station on South Grand and tried to walk out with the snack. When the owner confronted Crook, police say Crook hit the manager and walked out of the store. That is where witnesses told police that Crook threw a gas pump on the ground and tried to light the gasoline on fire with a cigarette.

He now faces several misdemeanor charges.
