SEC awards $22 million to former Monstanto executive

(KTRS) – The Securities and Exchange Commission awarded an eight-figure payout to a former Monstano executive who reported accounting discrepancies concerning the Roundup weed killer. The $22 million award is the second-largest under the SEC’s whistleblower program. Since the SEC launched the program in 2011, they have paid out more than $100 million.
