Police are investigating a fatal hit and run in North County.

Authorities say the incident happened near 270 and Lilac just before 9 pm Monday night. One man was found dead at the scene.

Police are looking for the suspect last seen heading westbound on I-270, driving a gold Tahoe Suburban or pickup.
