( KTRS ) A Hazelwood police officer, injured in a severe car crash, is headed to a Colorado hospital that specializes in spinal injuries.

It’s the same hospital where Officer Mike Flamion is currently being treated.

Officer Craig Tudor was responding to an emergency call August 25th when a car struck his cruiser. Officer Tudor will head to Colorado Wednesday, for the past two weeks he’s been recovering at Barnes-Jewish.

Officer Flamion has been receiving treatment at the hospital ever since he was shot, in a cowardly attack, while conducting a traffic stop back in July.
