( KTRS ) Well known, and often outspoken, Conservative activist Phyllis Schlafly has passed away at the age of 92.
Schlafly gained national fame in 1964 with her self-published book, “A Choice Not an Echo,” that became a manifesto for the far right. It chronicled the history of the Republican National Convention and sold three million copies.
During the 50’s and 60’s she helped build the anti-Communist movement in the United States.
Phyllis graduated from college at 19, while working at a factory during World War II. She authored 27 books and thousands of articles
