( KTRS ) The Phelps County Sheriff’s Department is seeking the publics help in identifying the body of a young woman was found alongside Interstate 44.

Authorities say the body was found lying by the side of the road, near mile marker 171, between Rolla and St. Robert early Saturday morning.

The victim is believed to be in her late teens and she was wearing a blue and red sun dress and flip flops. She had dyed dark blue hair, several tattoos on her back and a large scar on her left thigh.
