( KTRS) Police have arrested two suspects for allegedly shooting a 3-year-old boy in the head Saturday night. The child is alive, but remains in critical condition.
The boy was shot Saturday night around 8:20, while riding in a car with his father.
According to the father, he was turning left onto East Grand Boulevard from I-70 when another vehicle almost hit them. The father then rolled down the window and yelled something at the other driver. Police report that moments later the driver of the other vehicle, 17 yr old Jerry Hampton, began shooting and struck the boy in the head. His father rushed him to the hospital, where he was admitted in critical and unstable condition.
Jerry Hampton and a second suspect 18 yr old William Hampton, each face multiple felony charges and are currently jailed on $200,000 cash-only bond.
