(KTRS) – Two young children and a woman are dead after a multi-vehicle accident near Wentzville.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the woman was driving in the northbound lanes on US 61 when her car was hit from behind by a car. The AP reports that the driver of that car told police that the car slid on a patch of ice. Troopers say the woman’s car crossed into oncoming traffic and was hit by a sport utility vehicle.
The woman, a young girl, and infant in the car all died. The driver of the SUV suffered moderate injuries.
