St. Louis, MO  (KTRS)  A woman is dead following an overnight shooting in north St. Louis.

Police say the woman was gunned down in the 5800 block of Wabada Avenue at around 2 a.m. Friday. She was transported to the hospital, where she later died.

There’s no word of any arrests or a motive. The victim’s name hasn’t been released.

This brings the unofficial murder county in the city of St. Louis to at least 68 so far this year.
