( KTRS ) Authorities are investigating a suspicious, possibly fatal, house fire in St. Peters.
Thursday evening at 6pm St. Peters police responded to a call for a house fire in the 1800 block of Elm Tree Street. Central County Fire and Rescue arrived on scene to assist with rescue efforts and gain control of the house fire. An adult female and two children were found dead inside of the home.
The Major Case Squad has been activated to assist in the investigation. Authorities are considering it suspicious at this time.
The names of the victims have not been released.
