St. Louis, MO  (KTRS)  The winter weather is being blamed for causing a rough morning commute.

Dozens of accidents were reported in the St. Louis area throughout the morning on all of the major highways. This resulted in long delays.

MODOT and IDOT crews worked throughout the morning to treat the roadways. As the temperatures drop throughout the day, roadways could become slick.
