Hazelwood, MO  (KTRS)  Boeing is getting a big boost.

The White House has approved a long-pending fighter jet sales to Kuwait and Qatar. The $7-billion package includes 72 Boeing F-15E Strike Eagles for Qatar and up to 40 Boeing F/A-18 E/F Super Hornets for Kuwait.

The deal was stalled for over two years, due to concerns by Israel that the planes posed a threat to that nation’s security.
