32-year old Ronni Ducommun of Wentzville and his 67 year old mother Janet Ducommun of Neosho were both killed in a head-on crash with a car driven by a teenager suspected of being drunk.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 17-year old McKay Harris was driving a sport utility vehicle that crossed the center line and struck their car in the early morning hours on the fourth of July 4 in Newton County.

The patrol says Harris and his 18-year-old passenger, Alex Ashlin, of Neosho also died as a result of the crash.

While the 3 other people involved in the crash died at the scene, Harris had been in a hospital since July 4th but died this past Friday from his injuries.

The patrol’s online arrest report alleges 17-year old Harris committed several crimes, including driving while intoxicated and being a minor in possession of alcohol.
