( KTRS ) Just under a quarter of Missouri’s registered voters turned out to cast ballots in Tuesdays primary elections.
Secretary of State Jason Kander reports official turnout of 24.8 percent. The top attraction was the Missouri governor’s race. Former Navy SEAL officer Eric Greitens took the Republican with nearly 684,000 votes.
Missouri Attorney General Chris Koster, got the Democratic nod with more than 324,000 votes.
The primary winners will face off in the Nov. 8 general election.
