University City, MO  (KTRS)    Vice-President Joe Biden will be in the St. Louis area today to stump for Jason Kander in his run for the U.S. Senate.

Biden is scheduled to speak at 3:30 p.m.  at the Pageant in the Delmar Loop.  It’s part of a get-out-the-vote effort.

The race between Kander and his Republican challenger and incumbent, Senator Roy Blunt is being called one of the most closely watched races in the country.
