(KTRS) – Union workers are fighting back after Schnucks announced they would be cutting 190 warehouse employees.
The grocer announced this month that they would be eliminating the union jobs and relocating to a facility that employees non-union worker. The Post-Dispatch reports that the union workers earned up to $22 an hour, but the new non-union employees will earn closer to $11 an hour.
Union workers will be at several Schnucks locations this weekend telling people about the layoffs.
