Two St. Louis veterans are included among more than 130 veterans to receive keys to a newly-refurbished vehicle this Veterans Day.

Several businesses have come together for Progressive’s third annual “Keys to Progress” event. Former Army Sergeant Sabrina Goodenough has faced a series of obstacles since returning home from duty, of which includes unreliable transportation.

“This is just bringing us a brand new beginning to help us get further,” Goodenough said.

Goodenough said today is a life changing Veterans Day for her and her family.

“There’s people out there that do care and will help and that do appreciate exactly what we’ve done for our country,” she said.

St. Louis-based Enterprise Rent-A-Car will provide six months of automobile insurance for each donated vehicle.
