St. Louis, MO (KTRS) Two homeless people were rescued from a four-alarm fire at an abandoned warehouse in north St. Louis over the weekend.
Firefighters were called to the burning structure along Second and Biddle early Sunday morning. Authorities say the homeless people were in the vacant building seeking shelter from the cold. One firefighter suffered minor injuries in that fire.
On Monday morning, firefighters were still on the scene dealing with hot spots.
The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
