Police investigate 2 separate shootings in St. Louis
ST. LOUIS (AP) — Homicide detectives are investigating two fatal shootings that happened just miles apart in a nine-hour span on Sunday in St. Louis.
Police say the first shooting happened just before 4 a.m. When police arrived on the scene, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police were called to the scene of the second shooting a little before 1 p.m., where they found a man shot in the head. He was pronounced dead later in the day.
These latest killings bring the St. Louis murder count to 108.
