Berkeley, MO (KTRS) Police need the public’s help in finding a person of interest in connection with two suspicious deaths in Berkeley.
Investigators say firefighters found the bodies of two females, ages 26 and 60, after responding to a fire at their residence in the 6100 block of Eaton at around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday. The names of those victims discovered in the residence haven’t been released.
Police are looking for 39-year-old Michael Smith, who resides also resides at the home. Police say the victims are the mother and girlfriend of Smith.
Investigators also say they don’t believe the fire caused the deaths of the women.
Smith’s vehicle is described as a newer model Chevrolet Camaro, red in color, with a state of Missouri temporary tag.
