St. Louis County, MO  (KTRS)  The cause of an accident involving an Amtrak train in south county is being investigated.

Authorities say a train and a vehicle collided around 6 a.m. Monday, just south of the Jefferson Barracks Bridge. Two people were taken to the hospital.

Their injuries aren’t said to be life threatening.
