St. Louis, MO  (KTRS)  Three children are dead and two others are hospitalized following a roll over crash near downtown St. Louis.

The Missouri Highway Patrol reports that the driver, 23-year-old Eric Williams, was driving eastbound on I-70  onto the Tucker exit ramp when he lost control of the vehicle. It went off the ramp and overturned several times.

The accident killed 11-year-old Danzel Cosey, 10-year-old Lamont Davis and 3-year-old Eric Williams. The patrol reports the driver suffered moderate injuries and an 11-year-old boy was seriously injured.

The children who were killed were not wearing safety belts.
