St. Louis, MO (KTRS)  Ameren crews are working to restore power to thousands of customers following Wednesday’s severe weather.

Nearly 100,000 customers remain without power on both sides of the river. South county was the hardest hit in the St. Louis area, while Belleville and O’Fallon were the hardest hit areas in the metro-east.

There’s no word on when power is expected to be fully restored.
