(KTRS) – A man suspected of stealing a car and then leading police on a chase across multiple jurisdictions, is in custody.

Police say the man first stole a truck from and O’Fallon, Missouri dealership. Then police started chasing the man on Interstate 70. The suspect got off the highway at Lindbergh where he hit a St. Ann police vehicle. When the driver tried to get back on the highway, officers stopped and arrested the 40-year-old suspect.

The St. Ann officer was not hurt.
