( KTRS ) Police say they have a suspect in custody related to a fatal Memorial day shooting at a Schnucks.

Monday afternoon, around 12:45 p.m. North County officers responded to the Sierra Vista Plaza, Schnucks, for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival a 24 yr old man, found suffering from at least one gunshot wound, was transported to a local hospital where he later died of his injuries.

The investigation is being handled by the St. Louis County Police Department Bureau of Crimes Against Persons.

Authorities say the victim and 22 yr old suspect engaged in an argument on the parking lot of Schnucks prior to the shooting. The identity of the victim has not been released.
