Police have a man in custody believed to be the suspect in a deadly shooting at a Hazelwood Hotel.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that the Incident took place Tuesday morning, when Blake Edgar entered a room at the Days Inn and began beating a man with a pistol.

During the attack the gun went off and a woman, who was also inside the room was hit. She was rushed to hospital but later died from her injuries.

Edgar has been charged with murder 2nd degree, armed criminal action and assault 2nd degree. He’s being held at the St. Louis County Justice Center on a $250,000 cash only bond.
