(KTRS) – Two suspects are in custody connected to a carjacking and kidnapping Thursday morning in north county.

This incident began around 8 a.m. when a man took a car from a gas station with two children in the vehicle. The kids, aged two and four, were found in University City and had not been harmed. Just after two in the afternoon, police stopped a car matching the description of the stolen vehicle.

Police arrested the two men in the car–one of whom matched the description of the carjacking suspect.
