( KTRS ) A man has been arrested in connection with a shooting that took place at a Funeral home.

On August 8th police were called to a funeral home in 3900 block of Washington for a shooting. Upon arrival officers found 39 yr old George Calmese Jr and another victim lying on the sidewalk. Calmese Jr had been shot multiple times and was taken to hospital where he later died.

A second victim was treated for a graze wound and released.

26 yr old Torrian Wallace was also found at the scene. He was taken to hospital for gun shot wounds to his leg. Investigation later revealed that an argument between a group of people had erupted into gunfire.

The St. Louis Circuit Attorney’s Office has charged Wallace with 1st degree Murder and Armed Criminal Action. His bond has been set at $500,000, cash-only. The investigation is ongoing.
