(KTRS) – Prosecutors say that one man was responsible for three murders in one week earlier this month.

Investigators say the killing spree began July 14 when Brandon Harris shot and robbed a man in St. Louis City. Just two days later a man and woman were robbed and shot while in their car. The man died but the woman survived. On July 20 a woman in St. Louis County was killed during a home invasion.

Prosecutors say that police were able to link a stolen gun to all three murders. Harris was on probation when the murders happened.
