St. Louis, MO  (KTRS)  The murder count continues to climb in the city of St. Louis.

Police say a man and a woman were shot at a 7-Eleven on Bates in south St. Louis early Monday morning. The man died after being taken to an area hospital. The woman suffered non-life threatening injuries.

The names of the victims haven’t been released. There’s no word of any arrests.

This comes after a man was found shot to death in the 5900 block of Ferris in north St. Louis on Sunday. No arrests have been made in this case either.

This brings the city’s murder count to at least 47 for the year so far.
