St. Louis, MO  (KTRS)  The murder count continues to climb in the city of St. Louis.

Police say a man was fatally shot in the 1400 block of Hickory in south St. Louis at just after 2 a.m. Wednesday. There’s no word of any arrests. The victim’s name hasn’t been released.

This brings the unofficial murder count to at least 174.  St. Louis had 159 homicides for all of 2014.
