( KTRS ) Police in St. Louis City are investigating the first homicide of the year.

Authorities have not released much information, only to say the shooting happened around 10 pm Wednesday night in the 3200 block of Dodier Street.

The victim, a male in his 20’s, was found dead at the scene.

An investigation is ongoing.
