( KTRS ) The St. Charles Police Department is investigating a drive-by shooting that happened Sunday night around 8pm in the 1600 block of Timberlane, near First Capitol Drive.

A police spokesperson said several shots were fired at the home, while a child was home alone. Police say the shots were fired from gold or silver mini-van that has a black left front fender.

Fox 2 News reports that at this point, police have no motive for the shooting.
