St. Louis, MO (KTRS) Flu season is just around the corner.
SSM Health is responding by offering six free flu vaccine clinics in the St. Louis area on October 8th. This is an annual effort to reduce influenza risk for children, adults, and their families.
For each of the public flu clinics, vaccines will be available by injection only. There will not be a preservative-free option. No appointments are necessary.
Participants should wear loose fit clothing and cannot be pregnant at the time. Flu shots will be given on a first come, first serve basis and are available while supplies last.
Pregnant women are advised to obtain a flu shot from their primary care physician.
SSM Health provides two alternatives. One is a drive-thru clinic allowing those ages 6 months and above to get a flu shot without even getting out of the car:

In partnership with Kohl’s 4 Kids, certified car seat technicians will also be present to check for proper installation.
The other option is for those ages 9 and above. SSM Health will host free, public flu clinics for that age group at the following locations:
