St. Louis, MO  (KTRS)   Police are searching for a suspect accused of shooting at officers who were investigating a crime scene in north St. Louis.

Authorities say this happened around 7:30 a.m. Thursday in the 5100 block of Labadie Avenue when shots rang out from a gangway.   No officers were injured. The crime scene was where a man was fatally shot a couple of hours earlier.

Another homicide happened a few blocks away on Labadie near North Newstead around 1 a.m. Thursday. The victim died after being transported to the hospital.

The names of the victims haven’t been released. This brings the murder count in the city of St. Louis to at least 181.
