( KTRS ) A Ballwin police officer who was shot Friday during a traffic stop will require long-term care.
The Ballwin Police department posted on its Facebook page Tuesday that Officer Mike Flamion and his family “will forever be changed by his injuries.” Further details were not released.
Flamion has been hospitalized since the inciden, he was shot from behind as he walked back to his car after stopping a suspect for speeding. 31yr old Antonio Taylor, of St. Louis, has been charged in connection with the shooting and remains in custody.
A Gofundme page set up for the officers family has already raised over 135,000 dollars.
