( KTRS) A man has died from his injuries after being shot last week during a fight with a friend.

Police are now reporting that 20 yr Jarvis Jenkins died Monday, he was shot April 18th in 2100 block of East Adelaide.

Police say that Jenkins and another man got into argument, then a fight, which led to the the suspect pulling out a gun and shooting Jenkins in the chest.

The suspect, a 19 yr old black male, fled the scene and remains at large.

The incident has now been reclassified as a homicide and the investigation is ongoing.
