Ironton, MO  (KTRS)  A search is underway for a missing 3-year-old boy in southeast Missouri.

Temperatures have hovered in the teens since Titus Greyson Tackett disappeared near Ironton. His family told police he was last seen at the family’s home after midnight Tuesday, wearing only a diaper.

Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper Clark Parrott says a helicopter that has been using infrared radar to search a wooded area. But no sign of the boy has been detected.

Iron County Sheriff Roger Medley says police plan to send two dogs into the wooded area before sending in a search party of about 50 people.
