( KTRS ) Drivers in the St. Louis area should be aware of major roads closures due to rising flood waters that will affect their morning commute.
Modot officials say there are more than 40 roads closed to due flooding in the St. Louis area alone. Crews have closed Route 141 in both directions at Interstate 44.
Other road closures include I-44 from I-270 to route 109, Route 30 from Route 141 to Rahning, Route 109 from Eureka High School to Route W and Route 21 at Meramec River.
In St. Charles County – Route 67 will have traffic running one lane in each direction from the Lewis and Clark Bridge in Alton, IL to Route 94 near West Alton.
In Warren County – Route 47 north of Washington
In Lincoln County – Route 61 at Troy
