( KTRS ) Investigators are searching for the suspect in a fatal hit and run.

Police say the incident took place early Sunday morning around 12:30 am near the intersection of Jefferson and Chouteau Ave. The 38 yr old male victim was taken to the hospital but later died from his injuries.

At this time no further details have been released.
