St. Louis, MO ( KTRS ) Police continue to look for seven suspects in connection with a shooting at the Busch Stadium Metrolink station.
Police say the incident began around 11 p.m. Sunday when the suspects boarded the train in the metro-east. The suspects began pestering a 51-year-old man and his 29-year-old son for money.
As the train approached the Busch Stadium station, the two men relented and gave them money. That’s demanded more money. When the victims didn’t respond to their demands, they began assaulting them. One of the suspects pulled out a gun. A struggle ensued between that suspect and the 29-year-old victim. A shot was fired and hit a 57-year-old man who was standing on the platform. he suffered a gunshot wound to his head and is listed in critical condition.
The suspects fled the scene on foot. The victims who were assaulted suffered facial injuries.
The suspects are described as four black males and three black females. An image of one of the suspects was captured on video surveillance. That suspect is described as a black male, approximately 16-19-years old with medium twistie style hair, wearing an orange coat, black pants and purple flip flop style shoes and carrying a purple Adidas bag.
