( KTRS ) Police in Edwardsville, Illinois are looking for a man who, they believe, kidnapped his 13-year-old stepdaughter and her new born son.

39-year-old Christopher Derleth, could possibly be heading towards West Virginia on eastbound Interstate 64. Police also think that his stepdaughter, 13-year-old Katherine Elizabeth, has her son with her as well. He was born just 17 days ago.

Katherine Elizabeth is described as 4’8″, 95 pounds with brown eyes, hair and has 3 birthmarks on her right knee. Her infant son, Christopher Ray, is just over 2 weeks old and weighs only 8 ponds 3 ounces.

Derleth is believed to be travelling in a 1997 Mercury Villager with Illinois plates reading E83-3210.
