Troy, MO  (KTRS)  Police say a Lincoln County man accused of attacking a woman with a hammer stemmed from a social media post.

According to the investigation, 21-year-old Levi Lauck allegedly became angry with the woman over a post she put on SnapChat while the two where at a family event on Sunday. Lauk allegedly beat the 24-year-old victim with a hammer after leaving the family event.

The victim didn’t seek medical attention until Monday. She asked medical staff not to report here injuries to police. She returned to the hospital on Wednesday after experiencing complications from her injuries. Medical staff then notified police.

Lauk was a arrested and has been charged with kidnapping and domestic assault. He’s jailed in Lincoln County on $200,000 bond.
