( KTRS ) Police have released footage of a suspect in the killing of a homeless man.
31 yr old Darrell McCoy, was found shot to death in the early morning hours of May 4th on Hamilton Avenue, in the Wells Goodfellow neighborhood. The suspect, is described as a “very short” black man with a dark complexion and long braids. He wore a purple stocking cap and a coat with a purple stripe.
The St. Louis Post Dispatch reports that investigators say McCoy and the suspect arrived at a Mobil Mart, on Natural Bridge Avenue, in a small, dark-colored four-door vehicle.
After the suspect left the Mobil Mart, video surveillance shows his vehicle at the Budget Inn Motel, at 3607 Hamilton Avenue.
