( KTRS ) Authorities are investigating a shooting at the Canfield Green Apartment complex in Ferguson.

Police say the victim was shot around 7pm last night, by a member of the apartment’s security staff.

The victim suffered a gunshot wound to the abdomen and was reported as conscious and breathing at the scene, before being taken to the hospital for treatment.

No further details have been released. An investigation in ongoing.
