(KTRS) – St. Louis County Police need help to solve a fatal hit-and-run accident in North county Wednesday night.

Just after 7:30, they say that 26-year-old Robert Killian was walking in the crosswalk near Townsend Elementary, when he was hit. Killian was taken to the hospital where he died. Police say they have few leads in the case. A witness told officers they believe a dark-colored SUV hit Killian.

Police do not have any information on the year, make, and model of the vehicle. Anyone with information is asked to call CrimeStoppers.
