( KTRS ) Police in North County are investigating a fatal hit and run incident.

Authorities say a male victim was found on the pavement after being struck near the intersection of N. Lindbergh and Mondoubleau Lane around 8:10 pm Wednesday night. Investigation has revealed that the man was struck and that the vehicle immediately fled the scene.

The victims identity has not been released at this time.

The St. Louis County Police Department’s Bureau of Crimes Against Persons Unit are investigating the incident.
