( KTRS ) Authorities have released the identity of St. Louis’ first homicide victim in 2017.

Police say that 41 yr old Korrey Miller was found fatally shot just after midnight Sunday in the 5200 block of Jamestown Bay Court in North County.

A released report says the shooting happened after a disturbance occurred at the victims home and that “it appears as if the suspect and victim were known to each other”.

An investigation is ongoing. The case is being handled by the St. Louis County Police Department’s Bureau of Crimes Against Persons unit.
