( KTRS ) Officers responding to a call for shots fired in St. Ann, also found a working marijuana farm.
Fox 2 news reports that it all began Sunday afternoon with reports of gunfire. Officers responding found an unoccupied vehicle that had been shot at 7 times. As they began canvassing the St Ann neighborhood. Police reportedly knocked on one door and smelled what they believed was marijuana.
The resident gave permission to enter the home, and inside officers found a huge marijuana production facility.
Investigators say the marijuana confiscated is valued at around $40,000. The initial shooting investigation turned out to be family dispute over money.
The shooter has since been taken into custody.
