St. Ann. MO  (KTRS)  An early morning police chase has an unusual outcome.

Authorities say police approached a woman who appeared to be acting suspicious at a gas station in St. Ann around 4 a.m. Monday. That’s when she sped off and the pursuit went through north county, north city into Clayton, where the woman pulled over outside of the St. Louis County Jail and was taken into custody.

The woman’s name is being withheld pending charges.
